Hi friends! It's Heather here. I love creating backgrounds that make a statement. Sometimes it's piecing together large bold backgrounds and sometimes it's repeating a pattern. Today, I'm showing you how to create a fun background using approximately twenty "+" cuts.  Let's take a look.

I used the Positive 1 background file to cut the 20 positive signs and a 6x6 paper pad.  I chose 6 papers that I loved and then I arranged 4 of them on my cutting mat so I could cut 4 papers at the same time.  Once I had all the files cut, I lightly adhered them to the page, alternating patterns all over.  Once complete, I stitched over them.  The stitching was a but exhausting but the more finished look made it worth my time.

Next, I added layers and layers of papers, labels, stickers, etc around my photo and placed it on the lower right side of the page.

Lastly came the title.  I used a bold title acrylic element to make it stand out. I tucked a tag behind some of the photo layers and added my journaling there.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Happy scrapping!
