Hello, everyone! Aurelie here today to share the most recent layout I've created using some of Nicole Nowosad's fabulous JustNick cut files. And yes, this time around I've incorporated not one, not two, but THREE of her awesome cut files on one design. With any further adieu, here it is:
Can you see the cut files in action? Look a little closer... Closer... ;) Yes, that's right! I used the Basic Hearts, Ink Splats, and Simple Scallop Strips files. Basic Hearts? Yes, I promise, one of them is there... cut in that wood grain patterned paper, I opted to hide the "heart" form per say behind my layered photo cluster and use it as a funky background piece instead. Totally created the retro feel I was looking for - yes, that's me on that photo, way back in 1984 when I lost my first tooth! The Ink Splats were cut from the crossword grid patterned paper and the scallops from that blue metallic paper - which is a flopportunity at its best - I didn't cut the scalloped border using the right setting, but ended up loving it anyway when it created a neat score line through the cut. Wanna see up close? Ta-da!
Keep on tuning in to see what the other members of JustNick's design team come up with! And have a peek in the JustNick store - Nicole is rocking it with awesome new files uploaded to the store on a weekly basis. The possibilities are endless and it adds a touch of whatever you need to any scrappy project.
