Spooky Stuff treat bags October 27, 2015 07:00

Good morning, Just Nick friends!  It's Jaclyn joining you on the blog today.  The Halloween holiday is quickly approaching, but that doesn't mean that you don't have time to craft up a few seasonal treats to hand off to friends, co-workers, children, teachers, etc.  Especially, if you let your electronic diecutting machine and Just Nick's cut files do most of the work for you!

Nicole's got the cutest Halloween set of files called Spooky Stuff in the store.  I used these festive files along with some other random embellishments from my stash to make the cutest little treat bags, perfect to be stuffed full of candy!

I just love this little witches hat.  Cutting the hat, buckle and trim from different colors of papers adds so much character and life to this design.

I cut a second hat out of gray cardstock and adhered it slightly offset.  Doing so, and attaching the entire piece with foam adhesive, creates loads of added dimension.

This goofy jack-o-lantern face was just begging to be used.

I again, created extra dimension with foam adhesive and a shadow cut.  His little face comes alive by adding a couple of hand cut leaves and tiny buttons for his eyes.

I had to find a place for that creepy looking spider too. Hanging him from a vellum tag, makes it look as if he is crawling up the bag, don't you think?!

We'd love to see what kind of spooky things you are crafting up for the holiday with your Just Nick files. You can share them with us on our Facebook page or by using #justnickstudio on Instagram.  Happy Halloween!
