Arc de Triomphe | Laureen Wagener July 15, 2017 07:00 1 Comment

Hi cut file friends -

I hope you are doing great! I am super busy lately, school is keeping me on track and I am basically learning 24/7 - so I am super happy to finally share something crafty again on the blog!

For todays project I decided to use the gorgoeus cut file Frilly Floral Frames which was loaded to the store earlier this month and duplicate them to create a large grid on my page.

I duplicated the orginal image and flipped it and then simply cut it out. I printed three pictures taken either of the Arc de Triomphe or taken from the view you have once climbed up the Arc de Triomphe and printed them at 4,75" x 4,75". I also wrote my journaling in Photoshop and printed it out to fit into one of the frames.

After everything was cut or printed I adhered the frames onto my pieces and layered a couple of patterned papers behind two frames for added color and dimension - the page looked a little blank before and now I am really liking the pops of color peeking out.

I also had a few flowers left from the Sophie kit and scattered them around my page to create a space for layering my additional embellishments - like the rubber charms and wooden pieces.

To finish everything I used the puffy enamel stickers from the Sophie kit and my page was done!

I hope I could inspire you somehow to create a story focused layout using your cut files ;)!
Have a great weekend!

xo, Laureen
