Welcome to the blog today!  It's Mari here and I have a 12 x 12 scrapbooking layout to share with you using the gorgeous  Mandalla Leaf cut file.

This is such an intricate and interesting design!  I love all of the patterns that create the different sections of this leaf. The color palette I chose for my layout was inspired by the Pink Fresh Studio Indigo Hills 2 collection.

I cut the Mandalla Leaf from a 12 x 12 piece of American Crafts white textured card stock paper.  My idea was to have the leaf almost as long from top to bottom as the white background and then have just a bit of the cut file off the edge of the left side.

Using the packaging technique, I added some Distress Oxide Inks in Dusty Concord, Bundled Sage and Antique Linen to the white background paper where the leaf and photo were going to be placed. I backed my cut file with vellum and added some sewing down the center of the leaf.

I cut some leaves from the Sweater Weather cut file and added some of the Distress Oxide Inks to them as well.  I added some foam adhesive behind some of the leaves to add dimension to them.

I added some gold puffy alphas for my title from Pink Fresh Studio. To complete the layout, I added some splatters of Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine.  I love the colors in this layout...they are not traditional fall colors, but they are so pretty and soft.  The cut files are perfect for a fall layout!
