Hi Just Nick friends, it's Jaclyn joining you on the blog today.  February is just days away, and that has me in the mood to craft with hearts, hearts and more hearts!  I'm excited to share a page I made documenting the sweet friendship building between my daughter and niece.  This project just wouldn't be complete without some Just Nick heart designs.

The Patterned Hearts cut file, when sized down, makes a fun embellishment on a page.  I selected the large dotted pattern heart, sized it to around 1.5" square and cut it from white cardstock.  I then backed it with a tone on tone red stripe, adhered it to my page with foam adhesive and accented it with wood veneer, enamel dots and chipboard - to make it part of a small embellishment cluster, alongside my journaling block.

I snuck in a second digital cut design in the form of a frame around my journaling.  With all of the straight lines and angles on my page, the circular style frame from Infinity Hearts is an unexpected element.  It creates even more focus on my journaling.  The typed text was formatted in a word processing program, to fit within the boundaries of my frame.  In addition, I've placed it to slightly overlap two of my three photos, to tie the focal elements of my page together.

Thanks for joining me today, to see how I've incorporated some of my favorite heart themed designs onto a recent layout.  Happy Crafting!
