Hi you guys and welcome back to the blog!
Today it's my turn to share a new layout with you and I am totally in love with my project! I went back to the basics for this one, just to what I started with - cut files and simple backing!
I am totally crushing on the new Medallion cut file and used it for my project.
I cut it out of white cardstock at almost 12".
For my papers I decided to make a small dent in my hoarded Fancy Free stash.
I am still so loving this collection and it is still one of my all time favorites. It's so fresh and fun and just lovely!
I backed every open space of the cut file with a different pattern which was a little time consuming but so so worth it!
Then I grabbed my picture and started embellishing the entire page.
I kept my embellishments to a minimum to have the cut file plus all the colors and papers be the star of the scene!
It wouldn't be a Laureen layout without some spray mist, so I sprinkled some black Heidi Shine to finish off my layout.
I am totally going back to create these layouts more often! While scrapping I noticed how much I am missing these classic "old- school" cut file backing, playing with patterned paper layouts.
I hope you enjoyed todays post!
Have a great day,
Laureen

I love this whole layout! Is there an easy way to back the cut file with paper other than cutting paper to fit each section? I’ve done it a couple times and feel like there should be an easier way to do it lol 😊
