Hello Just Nick friends, it's Jaclyn joining you on the blog today.

In my opinion, nothing screams spring more than a bounty of pretty flowers, am I right?!  So, when assigned with the task of deriving inspiration from Spring, my first stop was to scan my Just Nick library for a favorite floral design.  I quickly settled on the Floral and Fauna 1 cut file, as I was drawn to it's clean, bold and graphic nature.

I chose two of my favorite flowers from the cut file and sized them to around a 3.5" diameter before cutting them from a variety of pretty patterned papers.

I divided my page background in two, along the diagonal, and sprinkled my cut florals along that divide.  My pictures and journaling were nestled in among the top right edge and bottom left edge of the flowers, to tie all of my page elements together.

I layered some florals atop of one another and dressed up each one with buttons, enamel dots and/or pearls.  Those extra details really make the diecut designs extra special and give them quite a presence on the page.

If it's springtime in your part of the world, we'd love to see the spring inspired pages you're making with your favorite Just Nick designs.  We hope you'll share those with us on social media by tagging your creations with #Justnickstudio .
