Fall | Mari Clarke October 08, 2018 07:00

Welcome to the blog today!  It's creative team member Mari here.  Today, my scrapbook layout features the awesome "Sweater Weather" cut file images from the JustNick shop.

I wanted to create a fall themed layout using the "fall" cut from this file for my title.  I cut all of the images from Bazzill Marshmallow card stock using the heavy card stock setting on my silhouette.

Once I had all of the pieces cut, I put some Distress Oxide down on my white card stock base.  I used a variety of colors in fall tones.

I added some stenciled leaves to the background as well.  I added Distress Oxide inks to the leaves from the cut file.  I also stamped on some of the leaves as well, just to add more interest to them.

I added some leaves cut from vellum which I ran through an embossing folder.  The addition of some glitter sequins and black paint splatters give more interest to the layout as well.

The arrow below the word "fall" provides a ledge for the title.  I love all of the different pieces to this cut file; it's perfect for any fall project you may want to create!
