Hi friends -
long time no see, right?! I am really happy to be back on the blog today with a new project for Background week.
I was assigned to create a project using any background file - so the search began.
I have a ridiculous amount of cut files and over half of them are background ones - but you can never have too many - right?! So after searching for a rather long time I thought I had found one - I worked on the page and it came out not really looking good.
New search, new cut file and this page was created - I used the new Going my way background and simply cut it out of a patterned paper from Take me away by Pink Paislee and Paige Evans.
I turned it at a diagonal and created layers and layers behind my picture using the Outfitters collection by Pink Paislee.
My title is made up out of small letter stickers and a die-cut. Because I kept my embellishing around my photo with all the layers, the cut file still stands out.
To finish up the page I adhered my white cardstock to the backside of the same patterned paper I cut my arrows out of. By then I had already adhered everything and couldn't use my sewing machine around the edges, so I simply handstitched a border around.
That's it for my post today,
enjoy Background week - there are amazing projects coming your way!
