Hi Just Nick friends, it's Jaclyn here today to kick off Halloween week on the blog!  Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so I was eager to dig through my library of spooky cut designs.  As you will soon see, I had a hard time narrowing down my choices and ended up uses elements from four different cut files to create my bewitching page.

Using a witch hat was a no brainer, as I dug into my library of Just Nick files.  I chose the one from Spooky Stuff because I loved the band and buckle that accompanied it, and the opportunity it allowed for me to add a splash of color.  This crooked hat is a fun added accent to my page title.

Speaking of the title, doesn't that scripty font look spectacular when cut from glitter cardstock?  The Free Spirit text was likely intended for other purposes, but I think it's a fun play on words when paired with my photos.

I also pulled in the number '31' from the 31 cut design, and adhered it atop of a black circular label.  This little vignette of designs creates a fun focal point on my page.

I simply couldn't stop there, knowing a spider web would make a fun addition to the overall design.  Just Nick has several web designs to choose from, but I quickly settle on the Hey Spidey Background because I loved the quirky feel of it.  I cut the design from vellum to layer in the upper right corner of my page and secured it with several lines of machine stitching.

I snuck one final spooky element from Spooky Stuff onto my page.  I sized down a couple of the bats and placed them just beyond the folded edge of my patterned paper background.  Adhering the bats only in the middle and allowing their wings to lift, reinforces the idea that they are indeed flying off the page.

We hope you'll stick around the blog all week long for lots more Halloween inspiration from the design team!
