Gratitude Bullet Journaling | Patricia November 4, 2019 07:00
Hello Everyone! I am posting on the blog today to share an idea for my gratitude journaling for the month of November in my Canvo Notebook.
I used a combination of JustNick Cut Files along with other stencils and stamps to get my journaling started. I first used the TN Fall 2 negative from the leaf design to create my background.
I added more stenciling, and then stamping to my background to build layers. For the focus, I used the Thankful Cut File and backed it with pattern paper and vellum for the hearts so there would be a little see-through.
I created a layered, colorful start to my gratitude journal on the left side. On the right, I will start journaling, but also love to create or extend the theme. I used the Leaf Grid Background as a stencil in the center of my page, then added Photo Tabs 1 at the top. I plan on using a Photo Tab and the Leaves 5 on each page.
I won't journal something everyday. I like the idea of doing it weekly. That way I don't create this as a mandatory to-do, but to reflect during the week and identify things to be thankful for: big or small, really anything!
So my journal is off to a good start and I think it is doable, keeping it to a weekly gratitude journal rather than daily. Using the cut files as is, as masks or stencils really helped create layers to my journal while keeping it relatively flat too. I will be back later this month to show how I have progressed!
