Happy Heart Day | Mari Clarke January 13, 2018 07:00

It won't be long and Valentine's Day will be here.  JustNick Studio has so many awesome Valentine's themed cut files for the projects you may have in mind.  Today I am sharing some cards I created using the Heart Cards cut file.

I started by placing an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy cardstock on my cut mat.  I set the sizes so that each image would fit onto a standard A2 card front. I set my cut setting for coverstock since this paper is quite thick.

The first card is very simple and easy to make.  I removed the paper from the mat and backed it with a piece of patterned paper from the Pebbles Forever & Always 6x6 paper pad.

Then I simply adhered this to an A2 card base using my tape runner adhesive and then added a couple of stickers from Crate Paper Main Squeeze.

For this next card, I backed the cut file with a piece of clear acetate using some double sided tape as adhesive.  Then I added some foam tape adhesive to the frame of the cut file over the acetate.  Before removing the release paper on the foam tape, I added my shaker elements.  I then backed the card front with a piece of white cardstock and adhered that down to an A2 card base.  I finished the card front off with stickers from Main Squeeze.

I love how these cards turned out.  They are ready for a sentiment on the inside and a hand written message!

For this card, I used the Heart Cards cut file from JustNick Studio.
