Hello crafty friends! Majken here with you today to share a scrapbook layout using a new cut file called "Cathedral Circle" (link coming soon!), and I used three sizes of the cut file as templates to ink soft pink around a sheet of white textured 12x12 cardstock. Let's take a look at the full layout first.
I love the pinks in this collection with the dark blue/gray, and I decided to align my ink to my shirt as well.
First, I created three sizes of the Cathedral Circle cut file in Silhouette Studio and cut them out of white textured cardstock. Then I randomly placed them on my 12x12 white cardstock and softly inked around each, overlapping occasionally.
Once the ink was dry, I spattered a little bit of dark blue mixed with black on the top right and bottom left. I trimmed my white cardstock slightly, and then distressed three of the edges, adhering it to the blue patterned paper base.
For the main section of my photo area, I layered tags and ephemera as my base.
And I put different ribbon and fabric on some of the tags.
I even tucked the smaller cut file at the top of the photo. And then I used some ephemera and sequins to add further interest.
Here is the new cut file:
