Love You | Majken Pullin February 8, 2021 07:00
Hello lovely crafty friends! Majken here with you today to share a Love / Hearts project with you as we get close to Valentine's Day. I adore hearts - I used to doodle them all the time and fill up notebook pages of them! I decided to borrow from that theme for my layout today!
I spattered watercolor over my background and set it aside to dry. I opened and cut various sized hearts from three cut files, along with the "love you", from Love Language, Hearts Alive, and Hey You. I cut them out from both white cardstock and red patterned paper. I wasn't sure how I'd use all of them yet, but I am okay with having extra to stash away for the future!
I used "love you" as my title and machine stitched under the letters to emphasize them. I stitched on my photo mat area as well, and then I used 3D foam tape to pop up the large red heart.
I sprinkled a few of the other hearts around my layout with enamel hearts, heart buttons, and heart stickers.
All those hearts sprinkled on the page just make me happy!
I had to force myself to stop. :)
This Valentine's Day will be a quiet one, but I'm okay with that. Here are the fun cut files I used on my project today:
I hope you are inspired to spend some time with your significant other and then scrapbook something celebrating love.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
