Memory Planner | Patricia Roebuck September 28, 2020 06:00
Hello Friends!! I am back on the JustNick blog to share more ways to use the cut files as stencils, but this time in my memory planner. I first opened and edited the Pumpkin Tags and cut just one plain tag from white cardstock.
After my tag was cut, I used a makeup blending brush to brush on red dye ink onto both sides of the tag using the Geo Stencil.
Then I used the same ink to stencil through the Good Times cut file.
Once that was inked, I traced the outside of the cut file with a black pen, then used a tiny makeup blending brush and black ink to add shading all the way around each letter. I wanted a distressed look to the letters as well as softens the pen lines. Then I stamped a sentiment on top of this. What is great about this idea is I have five layers of media on top of this tag but there is no bulk. This makes it perfect for my memory planner. I just used washi tape along the right side to create a hinge.
The other side, I left the one layer of stencil, and added my journaling, more stamping and a few die cuts to finish.
I finished my weekly memory planner with photos, journaling, stamping and embellishments creating a collage.
