Hello papercrafting friends! Majken here with you today to share a scrapbook layout about my sweet kitty, Oreo. I must say, I take far too many photos of this adorable kitty. He has so many facial expressions and moods. Let's look at the layout.
Here is Oreo in "bread mode" on my son's bed. I have all the heart eyes for this sweet kitty! I began by sizing the floral and leaves from Simple Floral 1 in several sizes in Silhouette Studio, then cutting them from white textured cardstock. Next, I backed the flowers with colorful patterned paper and the leaves with a green patterned paper.
I trimmed white textured cardstock to 8" x 10" and spattered some blue watercolor to let it dry. Once dry, I distressed the edges and matted with an aqua cardstock and sewed along the edges.
I used the flowers mainly as the base for my photo.
And I used the ephemera for my title and to add interest.
For the main base of the layout, I used dark blue cardstock, which I spattered with watered down white acrylic paint.
And I put two additional florals and leaves on the top left corner.
Here is the Simple Floral 1 cut file I used on today's project!
