JustNick Cut File Store

Meet our January GDT + freebie time! January 13, 2017 07:00

Happy New Year! It's time for a new talented Guest Designer to join us on the blog!

Today, we have the talented Aleksandra Gadji sharing her talents with us.

Hi everyone! I am Alex from Sweden. I am 35 years old, passionate software engineer, mom to two adorable kids and wife to the most wonderful man on earth. Yep, I am a lucky woman :-) I started scrapbooking when my daughter was born, 8 years ago. Over the years, scrapbooking has become so much more than just  a hobby and I am thrilled to be here and share this passion of mine with you <3

We asked Alex to share some projects with us using whichever cut files she was inspired to use from the store!

Check out what she sent us:

I fell in love with the big "Live Simply" cut file. I adore the big cloud, the hearts and the mix of fonts. I chose to keep it large and use it in white against darker background. I backed up the "dream big" part to make it stand out. That's something I really want my children to remember: to dare to have big dreams.

I didn't want to steal too much attention from the cut file, so I kept my design simple and only played with small, cute embellishments, adding them on top and around the beautiful text.

Butterfly and hearts. It doesn't get cuter than that! The second I saw them, I knew that I had to use them for a layout with my sweet, little girl. I played with the offset function to create three different sizes of the butterfly background and layered them on top of each other.

I cut the infinity hearts in a matching patterned paper and used it to frame my photo. To make my title stand out a little more, I used a sketch pen first before cutting it out. I love how well these cut files work together.
