Hi cut file friends!

Today it is my turn on the blog again and I have a bit of a different project for you!

I used one of Nic's awesome cut files but instead of cutting it, like you would normally do,
I used it as a starting off point to tell a story about me and my mom.

I simply used some of the super cool looking numbers from Age is a number and arranged them in Photoshop. After I liked my placement I began typing my journaling right next to the numbers.

After that was all done, I took my photo and used a few of the colors and pulled them over to fill the words with the color, so everything would match once it is next to each other in my album.

I listed 5 reasons why my mom is the best and then just added a couple of embellishments.
With pages like these I like to keep it simple, so the focus is on the picture and the words.

I hope you enjoyed todays post and I will share something fun with you in December.

Have a great day,

Hello all. Today I have a fun layout to share with you using the Ink Splats cut file. I created this layout awhile ago and just realized that I never shared it on the blog. I think it's because I added the red transparency sheet behind the layout and just forgot about it! I totally want to share this fun layout though... This layout was super fun to make. I simply cut the splats on white cardstock and used it as a template for my layout. Then I grabbed a brush and some paint and went to town.

Once the paint was dry, I used lots of chipboard, puffy stickers, stickers and stamps to complete my layout. :) What do you think? Isn't it fun. Makes me want to pull out my paint  again.

Thanks for visiting today!
