JustNick Cut File Store

Hello JustNick friends!

Valeska here today with a new layout using a lot of new awesome cut files from JustNick store.

I used the Retro Screen for the background, and for the title I used Upper Case Funky Alpha and Lower Case Funky Alpha. The collection I used is Legendary from Cocoa Vanilla Studios, and I also used some acrylic embellishments from Thata Scrapbook & Papelaria, a brand from Brazil.

For this project, I made some experiment. I cut the retro screen cut file out of  gray cardstock and I used the rest of the background cut paper as a stencil on my yellow patterned paper and white acrylic paint to make like a shadow under my cut file on gray paper. I did the same with the title.

For my title, I used the alphabets to create my words. First, I cut the words out of a patterned paper, then I made a outline cut with gray cardstock. Glued both and I place it with 3D foam stickers to give some popped effect.

Finally, I decorated the page with a few embellishments because I really wanted to focus on my cut files.

Hope you enjoyed it and get inspired to experiment new techniques in your projects. There are so many beautiful possibilities to use cut files.

Check out the new releases in the JustNick store.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hi JustNick friends!

A few weeks ago, it snowed a lot here in Spain (but not a snowflake fell in my city). A friend of mine that lives in Madrid sent me this picture. It’s really awesome because we are not used to it. So, I had to make a layout with this picture. And I wanted it to be as cold as the photo.

First, I cut the Winter Frame cut file from white cardstock. Then, I took a watercolor sheet and drew the circle of the frame on it. And I made the background using watercolors and splatters of white paint.

For my title, I used the Distressed Alpha cut file. I think it has the wintry look I was looking for. I cut the word “winter” also from white cardstock. Then, I glued it with foam dots to add more dimension and depth.

Finally, I add two stickers on the opposite corners and one more on the top of the picture.

I hope you like this icy page. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Don’t forget to visit the shop to see the new cut files every week.

Have a wonderful week!
