All Of Me Loves All Of You May 30, 2017 07:00

Hello everyone. Lately, I've been using digital cut file sentiments for the titles of my layout. Sure, I love thickers, but I never like how they look on my layouts! They always look too big. For this layout, I printed the "All Of Me Loves All Of You" digital cut file on to patterned paper. I did not realize it would be so light printed on the patterned paper that I chose so I used a marker to trace the sentiment and filled it in using a black marker.

I used Altenew's Reflection Kit for this layout. The "Better Together" cork embellishment is from one of Ali Edward's Story Kit, Bond. The cut-apart labels and doiles are from Pretty Little Studio's shop.

Hello Love April 18, 2017 07:00

Hi everybody. Nicole here with a fun mixed media layout. Every once in a while, I like to get messy and when I say messy, I really mean it. By the time I completed this layout, my fingers were stained purple and teal. What a pretty combination!

For this layout, I used the Kaleidoscope cut file. This looks so pretty inked up.

I decided to use the digital cut file as a stencil and embellishment for my layout.

I used Clique Kit's April kit to decorate my layout once the mist was dry.

I used a few floral stamps by Altenew complete the layout. The layout looked like it needed more so I pulled out my stamps and started stamping and cutting the images from patterned paper.

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you have a great week!

Hi cut file fans -

today it's Laureen back on the blog featuring a new layout using a gorgeous cut file from the store - Dream Big.

It was my task to finish up a project focusing on word art or phrases from the store - which belong to my favorites!!

I just got some new Altenew stamps and wanted to incorporate them into my new layout, they were the perfect little add-on to my minimal layout. I just am loving how this one came together and turned out!

I let my Silhouette draw the design for me and then pierced holes all around - and then same procedure as always - just stitch with white thread and your needle.

The design stitching was rather quick and easy and then it was time to embellish.
As I already said, I wanted to keep it to a minimum to really focus on my stitching and the word art, so I just stamped three flowers, stems and black and white accents and arranged them in a triangle - which finished off my page.

I hope you enjoyed this and like the layout -
I will be back on the blog later this month!

Happy crafting -

Laureen
