JustNick Cut File Store
Make A Wish October 22, 2015 07:00
Hello JustNick friends! Marcia here today. I have a birthday layout to share with you today of my nephew. His Mom made him this awesome eyeball monster cake with cake pops. I was lucky to catch a picture of him blowing out his candle.
This week Nicole challenged us to use 4 different cut files. These are the 4 that I chose....
I like to create stencils with the background cut files so I can use inks to add interest to my background. I choose the Shattered Glass Background for this because I wanted to focus on triangular shapes throughout my layout to coordinate with the pattern papers from the PinkFresh Studios Happy Things collection.
Another cut file with triangles is the Basic Banner. Banners really add a festive element to the layout. These banners have such fun repeating shapes too.
To help frame my photo, I chose the Doodle Frames cut file. I cut only the outside of this frame.
Of course with a birthday layout I would need a birthday title. The Card Sentiments 1 with the "Make a Wish" caught my eye for my photo of my nephew blowing out his first birthday candle.
I hope I have inspired you today with my layout to try some JustNick cut files yourself. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, hello! Aurelie here today to show you what I've been up to with a JustNick cut-file by the oh, so talented Nicole Nowosad. This time around, I used the Basic Banner file. As soon as this baby hit the store, I knew I had to have it. It's just one of those files that can be used for anything! And it was the perfect file to turn to, to kick my scrappy mojo in high gear. You know how it goes. We've all been there - you look at a blank page, a photo or products and you draw a blank. Total blank. But when I set my JustNick Basic Banner cuts onto my page, it reminded me of all kinds of banner-like products I've had on hand for quite some time now, and off I went shopping in my stash to compliment the banners I had cut. Wanna see what I came up with? Ta-da!
Not my traditional color palette whatsoever, but Eloise's shirt threw me for a loop! And that's one thing that's so great with cut files - you can create whatever embellishments or paper elements you need to go with anything you want, in any palette. Yahoo! So go for it! Find a JustNick file that reminds you of all kinds of goodies you have on hand (and if you're like me, that you've had on hand F-O-R-E-V-E-R!), and create to your little heart's content! And remember - happy scrapping!

Happy Monday all! Guiseppa here and I thought we should start the week off right with a layout featuring my gorgeous daughter. Yes, she seems to be the subject of a lot of my projects lately, but she is so fun to scrap, so you will probably be seeing more of her.
This week we are focusing on using 3 cut files on our project. Now, this was not hard at all. All of the JustNick cut files are amazing and it was easy to find 3 that would work well together. The cut files I used on this layout are the Chain Reaction Background, Card Sentiments 1 and the Basic Banner...new in the JustNick Store this week!
How fun is that background? I used some foam adhesive to give it a bit of dimension. The Card Sentiments 1 were perfect for my title.
Okay...so the Basic Banner cut file is soooo cute! I knew right away it would work well with the photo.
I love how this layout turned out and the cut files all worked so well together. Who needs to spend a load of money on embellishments when you can use the JustNick cut files. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope of inspired you to get crafty and have fun using the JustNick cut files. Make sure you are visiting the JustNick Store weekly because there are always new cut files! Until next time...happy crafting!
