Beach Vacation | Majken Pullin July 16, 2021 07:00 1 Comment

Hello everyone!  Majken here today with you to share another Summer project during Summer weeks.  I have a very beach-y vacation layout today.

Doesn't it just make you think of warm breezes, sunshine, and cool waves?

I cut the "BEACH" from Beach Sand Surf on my Cameo in white textured cardstock and backed the open parts of the cut file with the ombre paper.  Then I machine stitched around all the letters in the word.

I cut the letters for "VACATION" out from Outline Alpha and backed those letters from the reverse of the same ombre paper to stack below on the left side of the layout.

And I tucked little bits of ephemera and stickers around the letters.

I created a border along the bottom of the page to mimic water.

I put my photo area to the right of "VACATION" and sprinkled a few enamel dots to create a visual triangle.  And my journaling fit underneath my photo area.

I hope you have some fun summer memories to scrapbook - go check out the JustNick Studio store for all kinds of fun, summer cut files!

Here's a look at the cut files used in today's project:

Myrtle Beach | Marcia Dehn-Nix June 10, 2019 07:00 1 Comment

Hello JustNick Studios friends!

Marcia here today. I was inspired by some of Nicole's newest cut files to scrap some summer beach photos. While vacationing in Myrtle Beach, I loved getting up before the sun and walking along the beach looking for shells and watching the sunrise.

I love the new Beach Sand Surf title cut files. I backed the Beach one to have some beach sand on the bottom half by adding some torn kraft cardstock.

It was fun to embellish my title with stickers.

The Sunshade Background is a great way to add warmth to your summer layouts with those big sun rays. I did some machine stitching on the rays to add some texture.

Here are the digital cut files I used today ...

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great week.
