JustNick Cut File Store

TOGETHER RIGHT NOW by Sophie Delorme September 11, 2020 07:00

Hello JustNick friends !

It's Sophie here today and I am sharing a colourful layout with you !

I used one of the newest cut file in the shop called Boho Florals 3:

I started my design with a white background, playing with mixed media, applying some Distress Oxide inks diluted with water using the packaging technic on my water-colour cardstock.

I cut the cut file on white cardstock as well, and backed it with the beautiful Paige Evans collection named "Truly Grateful" from Pinkpaislee. I carefully stitched the flower with white thread and mounted the centre piece of the flower on adhesive foam for a little extra dimension.

I adhered the cut file on the colourful part of my background to make it stand out.

I put layers of tissue paper, adhesive foam and patterned papers behind my photo and adhered it on the right side of the cut file.

I fussy cut plenty of beautiful flowers and leaves from the Truly Grateful patterned papers and added them to the cut file, and around my photo.

The words of the title are stickers from the same collection.

Finally I wrote down my journaling and added the date !

This page came together easily and quickly, and that's what I like so much about cut files ! Isn't this floral cut file a pure delight ?!

I hope I have inspired you to use it in your own way !

Here are more close-ups.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Until next time,

Love You | Joanna Bandelin September 4, 2020 06:00

Hi friends, Joanna here sharing a sweet scrapbook page of my daughter. I used the new Boho Florals 3 cut file from JustNick.
I love the simple beauty of this flower cluster and I new I had to make a page with this cut file right away.
I chose to use the Unforgettable collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and backed my cut file with it and used some pop dots on the back for some height.
I created a few clusters on the top left and right of my page where I had some white space. I also added some machine stitching along the edges of the white cardstock for some texture.
I love the final results, the Boho Florals just make this page so beautiful!

Cherish | Marcia Dehn-Nix February 28, 2018 07:00

Hello JustNick Studio friends!

Marcia here today and I think I must have Spring Fever. I feel like it's been forever since I scrapped a really girly layout. Sometimes I just want to scrap pink flowers and yellow butterflies and imagine that Spring is just around the corner, especially when it's snowing outside (again!). I found the pretty Boho Florals 3 and the Stems 5 and created a gorgeous cluster to ground my photo.

To add color behind my white cut files, I watered down some acrylic paint and painted a line of yellow, orange, and pink across my page and then tapped my paper to make the paint run. Then I added a few paint splatters and some stamped butterflies and I had a beautiful background!

To make my flowers and stems more interesting I added sequins to the center of the pink flowers and drew some lines on the leaves with a marker.

The paint and the grey leaf stems help make the white floral cut file pop instead of blending into the background.

Here are the digital cut files I used today ...

Here is my process video if you are interested ...

I hope the rest of your week is fabulous! Take care.
