JustNick Cut File Store

Hello friends! It's Kelly, and today I have a new layout to share using three different cut files from the store.

To begin the layout, I cut out the Floral Cluster 2 cut file and then backed the large flower in a paper that coordinated with the paper layers behind my photo. I lightly outlined around the circle in pencil, and then chose an acrylic paint in a pale green and painted around the cut file.

Then I chose a few papers that coordinated to cut out additional flowers using the Build a Flower 1 cut file, layered them, and used an enamel dot for the center.

After I layered the flowers, I cut out leaves using the Bloom cut file and placed them around the flowers. I did lift the edges of the leaves with foam dots to create a bit of visual interest.

To finish the layout, I scattered gold and black star sequins around the cut files. I love the way that this layout came together using these cut files. Make sure you stop by the Just Nick store and check out the latest cut files.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you have a great day!

Hugs and Kisses | Majken Pullin April 25, 2019 07:00 1 Comment

Hello JustNick creators!  Majken here with you today, and we are celebrating spring with flowers.  Today I'm using some new floral cut files in the JustNick store (along with a couple of others).  The new Build a Flower cut files help you easily create layered flowers - super easy with a 6x6 paper pad.  I'm using the Daffodil Days Card kit from Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine for this layout (which includes Echo Park Paper's Spring Fling 6x6 paper pad), and it sure is springy!

The first thing I cut out for this layout was several flowers in different patterns.  I arranged all three originally in the top right corner with the photos in the bottom left.  But I decided to cut a corner from a 12x12 sheet of the patterned paper and anchor the photos over it.  I still felt another layer was needed so I cut the Screen Background from the green cardstock from the kit.

Here's some close-ups of the flowers - Build a Flower 1 and Build a Flower 4.  Over the cut centers I put some enamel dots.

And then I finished the layout with a title - Hugs & Kisses.

Hugs & Kisses

I hope you are enjoying your spring so far.  Don't forget to share your floral layouts with us!

Thank you for joining me on the blog today!

In My Easter Bonnet | Marcia Dehn-Nix April 5, 2019 07:00

Hello JustNick Studio friends!

Marcia here today with some Easter inspiration using some of the new Spring digital cut files available in the store. I love using flower cut files especially on my girly layouts. This one features one of my daughters in her Easter bonnet.

You can never go wrong with a circle design. I applied some gesso and spray mist to my pattern paper to help set off the flowers and Leaf Wreath. To add dimension to the Build A Flower 1 florals, I inked the edges and then bent the petals upwards before assembing them.

I am in love with these airy Spring Florals. Here too I inked the edges as well as the middle of the flowers. Then I added a contrasting button in the middle. So pretty!

Here are the cut files I used today ...

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend!
