Hi there!

Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration using a few of JustNick Studio's beautiful cut file designs.   I love how cut files are so versatile, and how they can help you tell a story with color and design.   Here is a new entry of my gratitude journal, and of course one of my favorite things in the world, COFFEE

Did I mentioned, I love coffee!!  And since Nicole has just designed the new  LATTE LOVE cut file, well it was just a perfect match for this layout.

I cut about 4 of the mugs from white cardstock, and backed them with vellum (for the foam),and papers from Obed Marshall's Fantastico collection.

Once I had my coffee mugs set on my notebook. I used the MARQUEE ALPHA 2 cut file to cut the word, "Coffee", from white cardstock. The letters were backed with a paper from the same collection, and placed on the layout.  Since there is quite a bit of color in the page, I kept the rest of the layout very simple.

I love how this turned out!  Remember to check JustNick Studio shop for new cutfiles. You will love them!

XO

My Goal for 2020 // Sarah Bargo January 9, 2020 07:00

Hey paper peeps! Happy New Year! Do you have any goals for this year? So I fell upon this adorable movie called "Becoming Jane." It's about Jane Austen and I absolutely fell in love! I realized that I had never actually read any of her books, so that is my big goal for 2020! I am going to read all of her books and write about each one in my new "Jane Journal!" Nothing major, just maybe do a cute spread about each one, maybe jot down my favorite quotes and whatnot.. kindof my very own book club :) It's totally going to have an old vintage vibe! So here is my first spread in my travelers notebook "Jane Journal!"

I used 2 different cut files for this one, a darling coffee & tea one called "You Had Me At" and a beautiful "Script Font!" I thought a tea cup would be so cute and fitting, so I framed my photo with it!

I just love the little steamy swirls coming up so cute! I saw this font and thought oh my gosh that just reminds me of a pretty handwriting that Jane might have had, so I cut her name out and scrawled it up the page like she signed it :)

I can already tell that I'm going to have so much fun with this, I haven't done anything "vintagey" in a long time!

I adore reading and getting lost in a good book! I'm so excited I hope I can reach my goal! If you would like to join me in doing this challenge, make sure you tag me so I can see your cute journals! Lets use the hashtag #sbjanejournal so we can share idears!

Thank you so much for stopping by! xoxo
