Happy Summer - Cat Martin April 21, 2017 06:00
Hello hello hello! It's Cat here back with another layout! I am so happy and excited with how this layout turned out so I hope you like it too!. I used the Radiate Cut File and cut it out from a polka dot patterned paper. I then backed it with several different types of paper, including papers that originally came from some old K & Company Smash Books that I never even came close to completing! I kept the embellishments and the background paper simple to really show off the photo and the cut file. My picture perfectly fit in the circle in the centre. The Radiate Cut File is perfect for emphasizing one picture and pretty much would fit any theme! I know for many of us who scrapbook the men and boys in our lives we have a difficult time but that's what I love about having the opportunity to create for JustNick, so I can showcase different ways to use her files and hopefully help those who are not sure exactly how to scrap for our boys! I will also have a process video up on my YouTube channel if you want to see how I put it all together, including all of my struggles!

Hi Just Nick fans!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a new boy themed scrapbook layout with you!
My 2 sons are such typical boys......the latest craze is doing a Dab wherever they are without a care in the world! I have had this photo of them doing a Dab together at the Monster Trucks show we went to last year!
Here is the cut file I used on this layout....the Visual Effects background cut file!
I cut the cut file from white cardstock and decided to back it on a darker contrasting colour behind the cut file. I used lots of Crate Paper for this layout including the Hey Boy collection and the Cool Kid collection. The dark background paper came from the Flea Market collection I think it was! I love how the dark strips contrast against the white strips too!
Machine stitching adds some texture to the layout as well as helps to adhere the cut file to the background paper. Recently I got some really fun boy themed flair buttons to add to my stash and one of those just had to be added to this layout!

Hey everybody it's Cathy here, back with another layout for JustNick Studio and Scrapbook Circle! The Scrapbook Circle kit for March was loaded with bright colours and funky designs. I really wanted to showcase all of those fun papers and colours so I chose the dreamcatcher background 1. There were lots of awesome spaces to back with papers! I used a small star stamp to create a fun pattern around where my cut file would rest and then popped my file up on some foam for added dimension. Since all the products worked so perfectly together embellishing was a piece of cake! A big thank you to Nicole and Scrapbook Circle for this awesome team up!

As well as the Wheels in Motion cut file, I also used the Crate Paper Cool Kid collection....I just love this collection for slightly older boys and it goes perfectly with that cut file!
This is the cut file I used on my layout, the Wheels in Motion cut file. I cut it from a light green cardstock and then backed lots of the open circles with different patterned papers and my photo. I then used foam pop dots to pop the cut file up off the background cardstock.
I had some cute Project Life cards laying around on my desk that went perfectly with this layout so I used some to tuck underneath the cut file and one also became my title.
I added some black thread and some black mist to add some different textures and to finish my layout.
Thank you so much for joining me on the Just Nick blog today!
