JustNick Cut File Store

Remember Today | Majken Pullin January 18, 2019 07:00

Hello JustNick friends!  Majken here with you today, and I experimented with Distress Oxide inks and one of the new background cut files released last week to create a pretty and colorful layout background to celebrate friends.  Take a peek!

After creating a blended ink background and splattering with sprinkles of water, I let it dry completely, and then ran it through my Minc machine to help get it back to a flat paper so I could cut it.

I then cut out the new Pretty Paisley Floral Background from the inked background...it's just gorgeous!

Because of the detail on the background cut file, I kept the rest of the layout fairly simple.  I created the title using the Everyday Words Background cut file.  I cut three times to layer the letters together with glue so it would create a thicker title that would show nicely.

I also opted to back my photo with Doily 2, which is backed with blue patterned paper from Pink Paislee "Whimsical".  You can see it peeking out.

And here are a couple more closeups of the Pretty Paisley Floral Background, which I sprinkled with a few star sequins (from Little Things by Lucy's Cards) and added a few puffy stickers, also from Pink Paislee "Whimsical".

Thank you so much for joining me today on the JustNick blog - go grab the cutfiles I shared with you today (or combine your own!) and get crafty.  New designs are released weekly, so check back often.  :)

Enjoy your weekend!!

How I Love You October 23, 2015 07:00

Hey, there!  Jennie here and I cannot wait to share with you the latest page I created.  Four cut files on one page?!  For me, that is definitely unheard of.  And, a totally fun challenge.

I thought about it for a bit.  Then I envisioned the files in a circle.  And that is how this page was born.  I took the arrows in All Boy and Arrow Set 2, then a word (You) from Everyday Words Background and one from Word 3 (love).

How does this all come together?  Just like this!

Paired with some Amy Tangerine die cuts and you've got a whole circle full of die cuts that really accentuate one of my favorite photos.

Try pairing a bunch of files together -- maybe say, four!

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to share with us on Facebook or tag us on Instagram how you are using the Just Nick cut files!
