JustNick Cut File Store

Live Life In Full Bloom Layout | Yarelys Rodriguez June 10, 2021 07:00

Hey there JustNick friends! Yarelys here to share with you my first layout as a member of the JustNick Design Team!

For this layout I used the Floral Cluster and Basketweave Background 2 cut files.

I started my layout by painting the Basketweave Background cut file. For this I used three different tones of pink to make an ombre effect. I also did some mixed media for my background. While my background dried, I backed the Floral Cluster cut files with two papers from the March Hip Kit.

Once my background dried, I glued the cut files and my photo. I also added some floral die cuts, my title, puffy stickers and epoxy flairs.

I love how this layout turned out. Hope you all like it and get the inspiration to create beautiful things. Be sure to stop by the JustNick store and check the new cut files. Thanks for stopping by.

Have a lovely day!

Hi everyone! Nicole here today sharing a project using one of our new floral cut files - Floral Cluster 3

Although this design is one larger image, I cut it all from white cardstock and then clipped it apart to separate on my project.

I added patterned paper behind some of the flowers and left some of them open, so that a lace like effect remains.

I love the white on white on this page, it really creates a lace like effect with just paper! The white cardstock leaves that remain allow the patterned paper to pop through on the base of the project.

Hello friends! Today I have a layout to share with you using this gorgeous new Floral Cluster cut file.

I thought that this sweet photo of my daughter and one of her friends would be perfect to use with this cut file.

I chose to back the flowers with solid papers and a subtle print for the leaves.

To add dimension to the cut file, I backed it with craft foam. I love the subtle shadows that it creates on the page.

One of my tricks when working with cut files is to tuck the photo under part of the cut file. To me it helps to bring the page together and makes it more cohesive. I kept the embellishments to a minimum because I thought that my cut file did all of the work for me on this layout. I did however add some machine stitching to the sides of the layout, and added a few iridescent sequins around the page.

Be sure and check out the JustNick shop for this gorgeous cut file and many more that were just added to the shop. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you have a great day!

xoxo, Kelly
