Hello scrappers! I have a masculine layout to share with you today. For this layout, I used Pretty Little Studio's Ain't Life Grand collection by Ashley Horton. And since the photos are from Skyzone, I decided to use the Gamer cut file and note tabs.
I sprayed the cardstock with orange, blue and lime mist from Shimmerz Paints. Love how vibrant the mist looks on this layout. The orange wasn't as orange as I planned, but it still worked.
Initially, I was going to mat the photo collage using a few tabs but I did not cut it right and so rather than throw all of the pieces away, I used the naked piece as my mat because I liked the mesh look. I used the arrow from one of the tabs at the bottom right-side of the photo collage as well.
Thanks for visiting today!

Hi Just Nick fans!
It's Tarrah here with you and today I am excited to be sharing my layout for the team up between Just Nick Studio and Stuck?! Sketches.....my layout of course features Nicole's awesome cut files and you can see my interpretation of the fabulous sketch that Laura designed from Stuck?! Sketches!
Here are the awesome Just Nick cut files I used for my layout...the Gamer cut files...perfect for my son who LOVES to play his Playstation!
I used up some of my Simple Stories 'So Rad' collection from my stash...it goes perfectly with these cut files...I resized them a little bit to work with them into my layout....I made the headphones a bit bigger, the controller a bit smaller and the Gamer title slightly bigger too!
Here is Laura's awesome sketch she designed! Make sure you check out the Stuck Sketches?! blog for all the inspiration using this same sketch!
Some detail photos showing how the Just Nick cut files compliment the sketch and the So Rad collection....
Thank you so much for joining me on the Just Nick Studio blog today! I hope you were inspired to try out the sketch using some of the amazing Just Nick cut files in store now!
Happy creating!
Tarrah x

Please help me welcome our talented April guest designer Chantalle McDaniel!
Hi, I’m Chantalle and, like so many of you, I just love this amazing creative outlet called scrapping! I live with my Husband and two kiddos in beautiful Brisbane, Australia and I’m thrilled to be serving on Simple Stories and We R Memory Keepers design teams for 2016. You can find me at the links below - looking forward to connecting with you!
We let Chantalle choose a bunch of cut files from our store and check out the pages she created for us!
Cut files used: All Boy and Gamer
I have a crazy Xbox zombie living with me right now, so the Gamer files really caught my eye! I have used the word ‘gamer’, included in the set, and cut it on my Cameo using the Silhouette Stamp Material.
I then went about stamping with white ink on the background. I’ve also used some of the awesome hand drawn stars in the ‘All Boy’ set as embellishments.
Next, Chantalle used this month's free file to create this super pretty and colorful page!
Cut files used: No Rain, No Rainbows and Sweater Weather
This file was perfect for a recent family outing on Australia day. The weather was set to be terrible but we ventured out anyway and were rewarded with lots of and sunshine after the rain!
I have drawn inspiration from a rainbow and cut the file on Bazzill double thick cardstock which is great for wet media. I then applied some subtle watercolour with paints and my aqua brush.
Thanks so much Chantalle for inspiring us with your work!
Here is a peek at this month's freebie:

Hello friends! It's Lee-Anne here on the blog today showing you a layout I created with the Gamer Cut Files.
I love these cut files and wanted the "gamer" title to stand out more so I grabbed five colors of embroidery floss that I had in my stash and handstitched around each letter of the title.
For the cute little robot, I cut it out on my electronic die cutting machine and added some dimensional adhesive squares to the back of the robot's head and body to add dimension. I journaled on the robot's torso and added some small yellow enamel dots to the eyes as well as some larger yellow enamel dots on the video game controller. Finally, I machine stitched around the outer edge of the layout and the video game controller.
Be sure and check out all the designs in the Just Nick Cut File Store. There are hundreds to choose from and always more designs added to the store on Saturdays. Thanks for stopping by!
