Memory Planner | Patricia Roebuck August 5, 2021 06:00
Hello Friends! I'm back with another Memory Planner idea using the File Folders cut file. You can see my first post here.
I added another older cut file from November 2020 called Countdown. This is perfect for adding a bold look to my planner.
And then the last cut file is brand new for August 2021 called Fun Florals. I cut several out from different pattern papers.
To incorporate the File Folders in this Memory Planner spread, I used the chevron design and then cut a plain folder to layer under it in a bolder pattern paper to contrast with the top. This was a busy week, and I tend to not take as many photos, so the File Folder cut file added a nice base, color, and texture for me to then add photos, Countdown Numbers, and Fun Florals around and on top.
Then I went back with more embellishments, journaling, and stamping to finish this side.
Just like with a layout, to help balance this spread, I added more Fun Florals using the same pattern papers. That blue flower on the left helps to really anchor and bring focus, so I worked off of that by using the same color of label stickers for my journaling, Fun Florals, and stamping in blue.
This is probably my most favorite current Memory Planner spread. I just love the look of the chevron File Folder, the Countdown numbers, and the Fun Florals. Hope you give these a try in your next project. Mix pattern paper and textured, colored cardstock for your cut files from JustNick Studio!
Memory Planner | Patricia July 20, 2021 06:00
Hello Friends! Today I'd like to share a spread in my memory planner from Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters Inserts using the new Sunshine and Live in the Moment cut files and an older one called File Folders.
I have a few more ideas of how to use these folders in my memory planner and may just give them a try and share more later. For this project, after ungrouping the design and resizing the today folder, I duplicated, mirrored it and then weld it to make a folder. I just had to make sure that 'today' was upside down on the bottom part of my cut file.
I used just the 'sunshine' cut file on the left to fill up space over pattern paper. This was in February and it was chilly for us. Using the cut file with the puffy alphas and stickers helped take the place of just journaling that it was cold. Makes it a little more cheerier especially since this was Valentine's week.
For my folder on the right, I backed the 'today' to stand out with the same pattern paper from the left side, and then filled up the front with lots of embellishments and stamps to create a blocked or grid look.
I used more pattern paper on the inside and then used the 'live in the moment' cut file over it with more embellishments. For the top, I printed a 4x6 photo, traced, trimmed and adhered.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Will be back with more inspiration using the File Folders and more cut files in my memory planner to share.
May Highlights | Patricia Roebuck June 24, 2021 06:00
Hello Friends! I have been looking at the Rainbow Ring cut file and wanting to use it in some way. I first cut them out using white cardstock and then backed each one with a simple pattern paper from Elle's Studio.
The theme of my project was inspired by the tag that says May Highlights. Between my rainbow colors of pattern paper backing the Rainbow Rings and the circle shape, I cut out the Spring Ring 2 from a stripped pattern paper to layer right over it to tie all my rings together.
I just tucked the tags and pattern paper around it in a whimsical design, then pulled out the May wood veneers from my Elle's Studio stash to reiterate the them.
My right side is filled with a collage of six photos on either side and then stamping, stickers, and journaling right down the middle to go along with the whimsical look on the left.
I am really loving the look of the Rainbow Rings and so glad I finally used them. I could se this with them in a straight line across the middle of my page with watercoloring above and below it as well. I hope this inspires you to give them and the Spring Ring 2 a try on your next project!
Happy Easter | Francesca Montorio April 5, 2021 05:33
Francesca with you today with a bit of inspiration using JustNick Studio cut files. Every week, Nicole adds a list of awesome designs to the shop that make me think of all the possibilities that you can create in a page with them. For this project, I selected one of the most recent cut files dedicated to Easter
I love everything about this cut file, Happy Easter, I'm using today. From the lovely bunny, to the title and also cute Easter egg! I used this cut file in the Heidi Swapp Storyline notebook to create my Easter day story.
To make these pages I used the papers from the new "Violet" collection that I myself designed for my Brand PikiScrap.First, I created a background with light blue watercolor on a page, on which I placed the cute bunny covered with a pink pattern and decorated with floral and clouds embellishments.
on this page I also put the title "happy Easter" featured in the cut file, and I outlined with a blue pen.
On the other page I glued four 3x4 inch cards and used the Easter egg cut file to decorate one of these cards.
All was left to do was add a few lines of journal, and a few embellishments, and it was done! . It's a very simple project to make, you can try it too if you feel inspired. I hope you had a happy Easter, I wish you a wonderful day! Sure to stop by to check all the new designs.

I love everything about this cut file, Floral Geode, I'm using today. From the large hexagon, to the cluster of flowers! I used this cut file in the Heidi Swapp Storyline Scrapbooking insert without resizing the cut file. I just adhered it across both of my pages.
I tilted it a little bit taking advantage of the movement created with the lines from the hexagon. Between the lines and the flowers tilted, they are all bringing attention to my main photo. I used one pattern paper background that was a solid and used the two shades of that paper to create a little bit of an interest there. I wanted the pattern paper I backed the flowers with to stand out but still be soft.
Then I added some pre-made die cuts and stickers directly to my cut file, and added my title.
The cut file is doing all the work of bringing attention to my main photo and smaller photo, all I did was add some journaling and embellishments, making sure to tuck another pre-made die cut under it to help balance the flowers on the left.
Gorgeous cut file to use for Spring or add some bold colors to make it very rich!
