12 Days of Giveaways - Day 9 | Merry Christmas | Becki Adams December 9, 2021 07:00 2 Comments

Hello Just Nick Studio friends! Becki here to share some simple Christmas cards with you for day 9 of the 12 days of giveaways. The free cut file for today is the "Merry Christmas 3" cut file.

These cards are simple but eye catching and easy to make! The Merry Christmas 3 cut file makes creating these cards a breeze.

I went with a non traditional color scheme for these cards. Sometimes, I like to change things up. This time, I changed it up and made these cards with a cool color palette of teal, purples, and blue. I wanted these designs to be easy to reproduce so I used strips of cardstock to create the backgrounds on each of these cards. The "Merry Christmas 3" cut file makes adding sentiments to these cards SO easy! I filled an entire 12x12 cutting mat with the cut files so that I had sentiments for several cards.

Each card has 4 sentiments stacked together to create a "chipboard" effect. I love giving my cards a little bit of dimension. On this card, I adhered many 1/8" x 4" strips of cardstock. Then, I adhered the Merry Christmas sentiment. For a last minute finishing touch, I added a few iridescent sparkles.

This card is similar to the first but comes together much quicker. On this one, I adhered 1/4" strips of cardstock at an angle across the card panel. Again, I stacked the Merry Christmas sentiment I the middle of the cardstock strips. And again, I added a few sparkles to finish the card.

I cannot wait to see what you create with the FREE Merry Christmas 3 cut file!!

This offer is only valid until midnight CST on December ENTER DAY AND YEAR at midnight CST.
No purchase necessary. The correct cut file must be loaded to the cart in order for discount to auto-apply. No refunds will be given. The design will still be available in the JustNick Store for purchase after the discount code expires.

Happy Holidays and happy crafting!!

Fall Apple Cider Treats | Patricia Roebuck October 2, 2019 07:00

JustNick Studio, JustNick Cut Files, Fall Cut Files, Cut Files, Cards, Mixed Media, Papercrafts, Handmade Gifts,

Hello JustNick Friends!!  We aren't quite enjoying Fall weather, but this time of the year, I love to create, and especially like to give something I made to friends and family.  For today, I have Fall Apple Cider treats that I created for scrapbook friends for a recent crop.  I used a pre-made 3x4 wood grain card as my base.  Then I used the new Fall Foliage Background with grey and pink paint as a stencil to create my background onto the card.  These colors are inspired by the tea bag.

Once all of my cards were dry, I attached the tea bag and the Fall die cut in a contrasting color that is also picking up the green from the tea bag.

Even though I used paint, these came together quickly.  I created 24 of them!  Perfect little gifts to make someone's day, but with giving these to crafters, they are able to re-use the cut file and the painted card.

I have a few leftovers and I still have the Fall Foliage Background, so I plan on using these to create another project I will share here on the JustNick blog later this month!  Happy creating!

Holiday Cards Made Easy | Marcia Dehn-Nix December 20, 2017 07:00

Hello JustNick Studio friends!  Marcia here today with some Holiday card ideas (in case you are like me and still making cards to mail). The Holiday Cards 2 JustNick Studio digital cut file makes cardmaking a breeze. Add a couple stickers and some twine or sequins and they are good to go.

Using some Kraft cardstock on this one gives it a masculine feel. It's perfect for my  brother.

Making cards is a great way to use up some of that stash you've been hoarding too. Aren't these penguins are the cutest!

Here is the cut file I used today ...

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your Holiday with friends and family!

Quick and Easy Last Minute Christmas Cards December 23, 2015 07:00 1 Comment

Happy Wednesday and the Eve before Christmas Eve!  Guiseppa here with you today!  There is nothing like waiting until the last minute to give out your Christmas cards.  I'm the kind of girl that would.  So, if you are like me, I've got a fast and easy way for you to make a those couple of cards you realized you needed.

I made two cards using JustNick's Holiday Card Overlay 1, Holiday Cards 2 and Holiday Words cut files. I simply changed the the cut files to the size I wanted my cards and cut them out.  I adhered them to to my cards and adorned them with fun brads and the Holiday Words cut file.  Really, it was that easy to do and took no time at all.

Look how fun it turned out and they look so good!

So, it's Wednesday!  Have you got all your cards delivered?  Oh, you forgot...you need to make a few more!  JustNick has you covered!  Make sure you stop by the JustNick Store and get these fun cut files!

On a sad note, this is my last project and post for JustNick.  I have really enjoyed my time on the team and being able to create projects using her files!  A big thank you to Nicole and the rest of the team!  Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

holiday tags. December 22, 2015 07:00

Hello, Diana here!  Holiday season is in full swing with all the excitement and busyness that goes with it!  I challenged myself creating fun tags using both older and brand new cuts from the JustNick store!

The cool thing about these tags is that not only can they work for gifts but also be used as ornaments on your tree!  Here are the different tags I created closeup:

The cuts that I used were:

Scallop flowers

Joy Background

Holiday Words

Holiday Cards 1

and a sneak peak at Snowflakes coming December 26.

As you can see cuts can be manipulated (such as the background cut) to a different shape.  In that case from square to rectangle and smaller. (from 12x12 to 3x4).  I am looking forward to giving these little tags away--they are little projects made with a lot of love!
