3 x Christmas Cards | Tarrah McLean November 19, 2016 07:00

Hi Just Nick fans!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you today! All this week, we have been showcasing cards on the Just Nick blog using the awesome Just Nick cut files.

I decided to create 3 Christmas cards for this week:

The first card I created, I used the Ho Ho Ho title from the Holiday Sentiments cut file set, cutting it from white cardstock and using foam tape to pop it up a little bit!

This cut file set is so versatile, as you get all of these cute titles for your holiday/Christmas projects in the one set!

The 2nd card I created, I used the 25 frame from Holiday Overlay 1 cut file set! I cut the 25 frame from white cardstock again and backed the frame with some red Christmas themed paper. I then used foam tape to raise the whole thing on top of the green Christmas themed paper.

Frames with images or words are great to use on cards, you can cut them from paper or cardstock for a fun look.

The 3rd card I created, I used the Holiday Tree Background. I cut this tree and the frame that its attached to with the green Christmas paper. I adhered it to a white cardstock background and added some Holiday themed embellishments to finish off my card.

The Holiday Tree background can be used for either a scrapbook layout or for cards too, you just need to resize the image accordingly!

Hope you enjoyed looking at my Christmas cards today! Thanks so much for stopping by the Just Nick blog!

Happy creating!

14 Days of Holidays - Day 14 + GDT! December 18, 2015 00:00 6 Comments

It is the LAST day of our 14 Days of Holidays... we truly hope you have enjoyed all of our downloads :)

Today, we have a a very talented Guest Designer - Amy Coose joining us!

Hi everyone, my name is Amy Coose and I am thrilled to be guesting for Just NicK! I live in Northern Virginia with my hubby on 20 years, my two teenagers, and my sweet 4 year old. I have been scrapbooking in some form since high school (I won't tell you how long ago that was), and love that it creates snapshots of our lives for us to look back on. When I am not scrapbooking, you will find me at the ice rink.  We are a huge hockey family and spend way too much time at the ice rinks in our area. Thanks so much, Nicole, for asking me to be a guest.

We asked Amy to pick up some designs from the JustNick store and create a project! Look at what she sent us:

I used the Sweater Weather cut file and the Leaves cut file. I adore how this layout came out. I had so much fun just tucking those fabulous cut file leaves all around my layout.  The title is from the Sweater Weather set, and it was perfect.

Amy used some of our holiday designs to create this great holiday layout!
I love large titles, and I cut it out of my patterned paper and backed it with gold.  It was the perfect way to frame my photo of our Christmas tree.
The Laurel wreath file is so beautiful, and it was perfect as a frame for some of my embellishments.
Next, we sent Amy today's FREEBIE file and she created this SUPER cute holiday card! I love how she sized the freebie to fit her card front :)
I used the negative of the cut file, and stitched around it using gold thread. I added a sentiment and some twine and that was it. Super easy, but also super cute!
Thanks SO much to Amy for joining us today! If you would like to keep up with all Amy's lovely work, please do so:
