Autumn Wreath Layout by Becki Adams November 10, 2021 12:30

Hello Just Nick friends and fans, Becki here to share an Autumn Wreath layout with you. December is right around the corner but I'm holding on the last few days of Fall before snow and the holidays arrive. I fell in love with the Autumn Wreath cut file when I saw it in the Just Nick store.

I combined this cut file with die cuts to create a wreath to tell the story of a fall drive with my husband and daughter.
This project was fun and easy, even though it looks like it was a lot of work. I simply backed the cut file with patterned papers and adhered it to the background with foam adhesive.
Then I added die cuts from the same collection around the edge of the wreath.
I tucked the leaves around the outside of the wreath and few flowers on top of the wreath.
After I finished the wreath, I added a bow and a few heart stickers to give the layout the perfect finishing touch! I am so happy with how this project came together. It's beautiful!
Have you created a fall themed project with Just Nick cut files? I'd love to see what you're creating! Happy crafting, friends!

Love You the Most by Sophie Delorme September 10, 2021 07:00

Hello Just Nick friends!

It’s Sophie here with a new layout to share!

I used two new cut files from JustNick: “Leaf Wreaths” and “Build a Wreath”, duplicated and cut them on white cardstock with my cutting machine.

I used a Felicity Jane Kit named “June” for this page.

I started by applying some Lindy’s Stamp Gang magical powder on a thick white cardstock to create a mixed media background in soft peach and orange tones.

I cut a big rectangle of patterned paper and turned up the upper edge so that we can see the reverse side and its beautiful pink floral pattern, and made a zig zag stitch along with a checkered strip of patterned paper to adhere everything on the background.

I added tissue paper and adhesive foam behind my photo and placed it on the right side of the page.

I cut the Leaf Wreaths in a few pieces and mixed them with the other foliage to created two beautiful clusters on both sides of my photo. I only adhered their base so that it creates movement and dimension to the page.

I mixed the clusters with a few floral embellishments from the Felicity Jane collection.

I also created a bouquet on the upper left side of the layout with a few leaves that I had left, and tied them with a beautiful bow made out of a Pinkfresh Studio die.

My title is also from a Pinkfresh Studio die.

Finally, I created another cluster of embellishments with a journaling card, some tags, a heart and flowers to handwrite my journaling.

Here are more close-ups:

I am very happy with the result! These beautiful leaves add so much to the page! And cutting them on a white cardstock doesn’t make the page too busy and highlights the photo beautifully!

I hope this was inspiring for you in some way today,

Thank you for stopping by!

Sophie xx

In My Easter Bonnet | Marcia Dehn-Nix April 5, 2019 07:00

Hello JustNick Studio friends!

Marcia here today with some Easter inspiration using some of the new Spring digital cut files available in the store. I love using flower cut files especially on my girly layouts. This one features one of my daughters in her Easter bonnet.

You can never go wrong with a circle design. I applied some gesso and spray mist to my pattern paper to help set off the flowers and Leaf Wreath. To add dimension to the Build A Flower 1 florals, I inked the edges and then bent the petals upwards before assembing them.

I am in love with these airy Spring Florals. Here too I inked the edges as well as the middle of the flowers. Then I added a contrasting button in the middle. So pretty!

Here are the cut files I used today ...

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend!
