JustNick Cut File Store
Selfie Love February 25, 2017 07:00
Hello JustNick Studio friends!
Marcia here today with a fun layout using 3 different cut files from the store. When my daughter was a teenager, she had no selfie control, lol. I decided to create a layout of some (yes just some) of the selfies she took in just one night while at a football game with friends. I combined 2 different cut files to create my title "Selfie Love". Then I decided it would be fun to add a camera too. Here is how my layout turned out...
I cut the camera out of black cardstock and backed it with a bright yellow to coordinate with the emojis. It's from the Summer Cards cut file.
Here are the digital cut files I used today...
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out what's new in the JustNick Studio store.
Love, Love, Love February 04, 2017 07:00
Hello friends! February is the month of love and so today I am sharing a love themed layout.
I chose two cut files for this layout of my hubby and I. I love the Ying Yang Background and I thought it fit perfectly for this layout. Basically there isn't balance if there isn't one without the other and I thought it depicted being together. It was time consuming to create this layout. First I cut out the background on white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo and then I backed all shapes with patterned paper.
The title is created from the Lots Of Love cut file and I selected three different love words, cut them out on white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.
I love the softness that vellum gives the layout so I typed my journaling on vellum and attached the vellum strips with some machine stitching.
I really loved creating this layout of my best friend and I. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy your day!
Cut Files Used On Layout:
Lots of Love January 24, 2017 07:00
Hello everyone! Today, I have a pretty layout to share with you using the "Lots of Love" cut file and January Clique Kit! I love this cut file and used it a few different ways on this layout. It's been a long time since I used a large photo on my layout so this month, I challenged myself to do just that...
I first cut the Love words then used the naked piece of the cut to trace the word love all over the patterned paper at the top half of the layout. I used a Bic 0.7 pen so the lines would be a little darker and more visibly to the eyes.
Then I used Gluedots to add the "love" letters cut from the same cut file to the photo. I used a ruler and a fine tip pen to add faux stitching to the cut file.
Love, Love, Love All You Need Is Love February 08, 2016 07:00
Hello friends! It's Lee-Anne here and today I am sharing with you a love themed layout of my oldest son and daughter in law on their trip to Europe.
I love working with vellum and I had some red heart embossed vellum in my stash that I thought would work perfectly for this layout and Just Nick Cut Files.
I cut out the Hearts, Infinity Hearts Frames and Lots of Love cut files on my Silhouette Cameo. To adhere the vellum, I machine stitched the cut designs in place so there was no adhesive showing through onto the right side.
I hope you are inspired to use vellum on your projects with Just Nick cut files. Check out all the designs, including the designs I used on this layout in the Just Nick shop here.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy creating!

Melissa here with you today and I'm sharing a page using my new favorite background cut file by Nicole. I am such a huge fan of background cut files and I'll tell you why. For most of my scrapbooking life, I have dubbed myself as a clean and simple scrapper. I love simple design and embellishments for my pages. Background cut files bring a whole new depth and texture to my pages that I'm just loving. Plus, they are just plain fun to cut!
Here is the page I'm sharing with you today. It uses the Heart Burst cut file.
Isn't that fun??? It's amazing how a simple background cut file can take my page to whole other level. Typically, I would have created some layers with the patterned paper and finished it off with the title and a few embellies. Instead, by backing the cut file shape and then using those areas as places to add other elements, it looks like a page I might have spent a lot of time on. Truth be told, this page came together very quickly.
Here are a couple of close ups:
Isn't that 'love' beautiful? That's in the shop too!
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and there are some great cut files, including the ones I've used today, for all your lovey focused projects! From Valentine's cards to pages, like mine, focusing on the people you love, you will definitely find an awesome cut file to compliment your design!
