Shaker Cards #2 | Maryám Pérez April 09, 2018 07:00

Hello Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new pair of shaker cards. This time I'm using the Up in the clouds and Up in the air set and my scrapbooking collection Sweet Life.

For the first card, I used some clouds of the set, I backed them with a clear acetate sheet and of course, I also added some sequins matching the colors of the collection. The sentiment of this cards is: "Make your dreams happen" and the embellishments are just a few butterflies.

For the second card, I used one of the hot air balloons and I did the same thing. The sentiment of my card is: "remember to smile" and I added some sticker flowers as embellishments.

That's it for today. I hope you liked these cards. Let me know if you have any questions and don't forget to check out the shop for more cut files.
Have a wonderful day!

Traveler's Notebook | Maryám Pérez March 13, 2018 07:00

Hi Friends! Maryám here with you to share a new project using a cut file from the JustNick Shop. This time I'm using the Wonky Star Background Cut File.

This week is the lucky week on the blog so that's why I decided to use a star cut file. For this spread, I wanted to keep the design very simple. I used a photo of my sister and I added some layers behind of it. On the right side, I added the journaling and a couple embellishments.

Here are some close-ups.

As you can see, I backed the star cut file with a pink patterned paper. I really liked the color of that paper because it matches perfectly with the photo.

That's for today! Hope you liked these pages. Let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful day!

Shaker Cards | Maryám Pérez January 22, 2018 07:00

Hello Friends! Maryám here with you to share two shaker cards that I created using Bamboo Background and Lazy Daisies.

For today's cards, I'm using the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Bohemian Dream collection. I had the perfect sequins to match the collection so that's why I decided to use it.

For the first card, I used the Bamboo background. I modified it a little bit because I needed to fit it in a 4,75 x 5" cardstock. Once I have it cut, I backed it with an acetate sheet and then I added some foam dots and of course a bunch of sequins too.

For the second card, I used the Lazy Daisies set. I picked one flower and then I put it three times into the piece of white cardstock. Once I had them cut, I did the same as the first card but using other colors of sequins and embellishments.

Here is another close-up of both cards.

I hope you liked these cards I shared today. Let me know if you have any questions. And don't forget to check out the shop for more beautiful cut files.

Have a wonderful week!

Snow Day | Maryám Pérez December 31, 2017 07:00

Hello Everyone! Today is the last day of the year and I'm so happy to back sharing a new layout using the wonderful JustNick Cut files.

For today's project, I'm using the Snowflakes Cut File Set. This time I was inspired by one of the layouts from Paige Evans where she created a big snowflake with sequins. I took that idea and I created my own layout using sequins and a cut file.

I made 3 snowflakes. The first thing I did was cut the snowflakes using my Silhouette Cameo, after that, I adhered all of my sequins following the design of the snowflake. Once I have that part done, I decided to add some stitching so I used the little holes in the sequins as a guide and I stitched through them.

Here is my layout:

I hope you liked this project. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be really happy to answer them.
I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Shaker Tags | Maryám Pérez November 30, 2017 07:00

Hello, Friends! Maryám here to share with you two shaker tags I made using Just Nick cut files.
I love shaker cards, but I wanted to do something a bit different that's why I chose tags. The steps are basically the same as a shaker card, the only difference is that you have to cut the tag two times because with the second one you will back the first tag (the one which has the shaker pocket).

Here are the final tags.

And some close-ups:

Here are the cut files I used. From the first set I only used the tags and from the other, I used one bird and a heart.

Around the World | Birds of a Feather

That's it for today, friends! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day!

Love this | Maryám Pérez November 06, 2017 07:00 1 Comment

Hi Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new project using Just Nick Cut Files. The theme for this week is "leaves" so I decided to use the Leaf Circle Background as the main element of my page.

Once I had the cut file in my hands I started to back the spots. I wanted it to be colorful so I tried to use so many different pattern papers I could. It took me some hours, but once I have it done it looked really cute!

After that, I added some embellishments from the Turn the Page collection, also my photo and my journaling.

Here is the final layout:

I hope you liked my layout! and don't forget to check out the shop for more amazing cut files!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a great week!

Just be you | Maryám Pérez October 31, 2017 07:00

imeHello Friends! Maryám here to share another design using Just Nick Cut Files. For this layout I decided to use a photo of me, because Why not?. Once the time I had my photo I couldn't resist working with the beautiful "Foliage Background" Cut File and the Wild at heart collection.

After some hours working and working... here is what I created:

I attached the cut file with some foam dots to the background. Then, I started to embellish my page, and of course, to add my journaling.

Here are some close-ups:

I think this is my new favorite cut file from Just Nick Studio! It's just perfect for every time. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day :)

Hello | Maryám Pérez October 16, 2017 07:00

Hey Friends! Maryám here to share with you a layout using the "Star Background 2" Cut File. I had some stuff from the Glitter Girl collection over my desk and I thought the cut file will match perfectly with it.

Here is what I have created:

Once I had the cut file backed with all of the papers I put some foam dots behind of it because I wanted it to have a little bit of dimension.

Here are some close-ups:

I hope you liked my layout. Let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful day!

Right Now | Maryám Pérez September 27, 2017 07:00

Hello, friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new layout using Just Nick Cut files. I was looking the shop and I realized that we had birds cut files there. So, what I've done was trace them on the Silhouette Studio Sofware and then send them through the machine using a sketch pen because I wanted to add stitching around the birds. After that, I cut the birds again, but in this time I cut on patterned paper.

Here is the result:

This is the cut file I've used today:

You make me happy | Maryám Pérez September 09, 2017 07:00

Hello, friends! Maryám here to share with you a layout using the beautiful "Behold Beauty" Cut file. As soon as I saw it I knew I will use it, but I was waiting for the perfect collection and it was... the Wild at Heart from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I used the flower cut file as the main element of my layout, and I put cocoa vanilla die-cuts around it, also I fussy cut some butterflies from one of the papers. At the end, I add my picture and the journaling and that is it!

Here is my final result:

Sisters | Maryám Pérez August 14, 2017 07:00

Hello, Friends! Today I'm here to share a new project using the beautiful Just Nick cut files. For this layout, I was inspired by the flowers in the Wild at Heart collection, but I also wanted to include flowers cut with my Silhouette. So, I went to the shop and looked for "flowers" and I found a set that I really liked, then, I cut and backed them with some pattern papers and... this is what I created.

 Here are some close-ups:

For the title, I used the Lower Case Outline Alpha and backed it with a pattern paper from the Wild at heart collection.

I hope you liked my project and don't forget to check out the amazing cut files on the shop. I will see you the next month with more inspiration.

Smile Forever | Maryám Pérez August 03, 2017 07:00

Hello, Friends! Maryám here to share a layout with you today. I love to take photos and specialty when we go to walk or a trip. For today's project, I'm using one of the photos I took in a walk to a park near of our house. I wanted to do a colorful background and to try to challenge myself to don't use only white backgrounds in my layouts, and I think I did it!

 Here are some close-ups:

For my title, I used the Outline Alpha and I backed it with a polka dots paper, and over it, I put a silver glitter word that says "forever".

I also created 3D flowers, and How I did them? I cut 3 layers of each flower, but I changed the size of them, so all of them were different. In that way, I was able put them over each other.

Here are the cut-files I used:

Outline Alpha | Basic Flowers 2

I hope you liked this layout, and don't forget to visit the shop to get more cut files. Thanks for stopping by.

See you soon.

Dreaming | Maryám Pérez July 16, 2017 07:00

Hello, JustNick friends! Maryám here to share another layout with you. For today's project, I decided to use a photo of my sister and I thought the Dream On collection from Pinkfresh Studio will work perfectly with the photo.

For the background, I used the Picnic blanket background cut file, and for the clouds, I only used the outline trace and instead of cutting I put a sketch pen, so in that way, I was able to add hand-stitching to them. At the end, I just added some extra stuff to embellish my page.

And... this is the result:

Here are some close-ups:

Here are the cut files that I've used in this layout:

I hope you liked my layout. If you have any questions just let me know in the comments below.
