JustNick Cut File Store

You are pretty much my favorite person June 29, 2017 07:00

Hello! Donna here for my final layout as a Just Nick Studio DT member. I truly enjoyed creating with Nicole's one of a kind cut files and I am sure I will be using her cut files a lot in upcoming projects. I will surely miss being on the team but I am grateful for the time I've spent here.  Thank you so much, Nicole!!! I can't wait to see the inspiring creations from the new design team members!

Now, for my layout, I used the cut file "My Most Favorite"

I colored the cut file with watercolor. I already have an idea of how I'll decorate my layout. So, while waiting for the cut file to dry, I started assembling my layout. I added strips of paper to the right and left sides.

I stacked layers of journal cards and photos on the left side of the layout and adhered the cut file on the right.

I added a mix of green and teal blue watercolor around the cut file to make it stand out a bit more against the background. I finished off decorating the layout by adhering the butterflies .

I had fun creating this layout and I hope you liked it as much as I do!

Check out the Just Nick store for more beautiful and unique cut files.

Hi there cut file friends!

It's Laureen back with you to share a new project I made!
Now, I have lately come around some changes in the way I scrapbook and see things regarding scrapbooking and have found myself absolutely enjoying to scrap in a different format from time to time.

Doesn't matter if it's 6x8 for telling my stories or 8,5x11 or 9x12.
I am just really liking the change - because scrapping in 12x12 became kind of boring and I had a feeling that all my recent layouts looked similar.

Don't get me wrong I still scrap 12x12 but will throw in some other formats for the fun of it from time to time ;)

Now what I love about cut files is the great variety - the ones from Nicole always come with a PNG version, so you can also print them. I love how Nicole Martle always does that and decided to try it out for todays project.

I used the file "My most favorite" and filled it with a pattern in Silhouette and simply send it to my printer :)

I also used the gorgeous florals from "Boho florals" and kept embellishing to a minimum, because I used a gorgoeus specility paper from the Take me Away collection as my main focus.

I hope you have a great day!

Laureen
