JustNick Cut File Store

Hi Just Nick friends!  It's Jaclyn here today to share with you a page I made with the March "Happy Place" kit from Scrapbook Circle and some fun Just Nick digital designs.

There are loads of fun patterned papers included in this month's Scrapbook Circle kit, but my eyes were immediately drawn to the 'Sprinkle' paper from Amy Tangerine's new 'On a Whim' collection.  The patterned rain drops had me swooning!  They immediately reminded me of a fun picture and story of my kid's dancing in the exact same raindrops that we had just narrowly escaped at the swimming pool!

I reached for Just Nick's Patterned Clouds and Sunny Days files to cut a multitude of clouds - in various shapes, sizes and patterns, to compliment the rainy background.

Stacking and layering a few of the cut designs, proved to be the perfect home for my page title. A large white cloud cut was a great spot to include my journaling - allowing it to stand out amongst the busy, colorful background.

I overlapped the tile cloud just a small amount, on the left edge of my picture, to tie all of the page elements together.  The right side of the photo is accented with additional papers and stickers from the kit, creating a nice cohesive balance.

Stay tuned to the blog for more projects featuring this fun team-up and don't forget to check out the Scrapbook Circle blog for even more inspiration!

But First Coffee! July 11, 2016 07:00

Hello JustNick friends!

Marcia here today. I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to the JustNick design team! I LOVE working with Nicole's cut files. My All About Me layout today features the Patterned Clouds cut file. They reminded me of gloomy Eeyore ... notice my Eeyore coffee cup. It was a gift from my son. I am just like gloomy Eeyore in the morning. Yup, I am not a morning person ... at all! I would love to blame my thyroid condition, but let's face it ... I have never been a morning person. Mornings are just worse now since I need to be medicated and caffeinated in order to wake up!

The alpha I used for coffee will be coming to the JustNick store soon... I jumped the gun and used it a little early.  Let's look at those clouds a little closer ...

Since my morning routine involves feeding 5 cats, I thought the cat chipboard sticker was appropriate here. No, they are not all mine ... 2 are my daughter's (she is temporarily living back at home). But I guess 3 cats still makes me a crazy cat lady, lol. I just can't help myself though when a stray cat shows up.

Here is the digital cut file I used...

A Little More About Me: I have been married to the most wonderful guy for the past 33 years! We live in Minnesota (where winters are way too long and summers are way too short) and have three adult kids. I have been scrapbooking for over 15 years. Besides my love for all forms of paper crafting, I have a soft side when it comes to cute, furry animals. Currently in residence is the family dog Satchel, and 3 cats; Delta, Spook, and Xena (and temporarily my daughter's dog Princeton, and her 2 cats Turk and Tuna). I guess you could say I live in a zoo, lol.  I work a 9-5 job designing software for electrical utilities. Yup, I am a nerd.

You can find me here ...

Thanks for stopping by today! Check out all the fabulous designs in the JustNick Studios on-line store.

Best Friends Forever November 23, 2015 07:00

Hello!  Guiseppa here to share with you my layout featuring some of JustNick's latest cut files.  I just love creating layouts of my adorable daughter and of course our cute Rango.  Our family likes to go camping quite often and one morning, I got up to get ready for the day and couldn't resist snapping pictures of Janica and Rango sleeping.

The cut files I chose to use for this layout are the Girl Power, Star Background 3 and Patterned Clouds.  I thought all of these cut files were fitting for the theme of the layout and look how wonderful it all turned out.

There are so many fun cut files in the JustNick Store and they are waiting for you to go in and download.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today and have fun crafting with JustNick cut files! Until next time!
