Happy ! by Sophie Delorme May 10, 2021 07:00
Hey friends !
It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share !

I used the beautiful Spring Stained Glass cut file for my page.

I cut it on white cardstock. I backed the flowers with Paige Evan’s new collection “Wonders” and the rest of the cut file with velum. I made a chain stitch all around it, added adhesive foam behind it and centered it on a beautiful Wonders patterned paper that couldn’t be more perfect for this circular design !

I printed my photo in black and white to make it stand out around all those springy colors, with a layer of tissue paper behind it.
I embellished around the photo with floral and leaves die cuts from the same collection, added a chipboard sticker for my title and a few Pinkfresh Studio crystals mix.

I love how it turned out ! This cut file is a must have ! Perfect for any spring themed layouts !

Dream Big by Sophie Delorme April 28, 2021 07:00
Hey friends !
It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share !

It’s Spring time and it is the theme of my page !
I used the new Spring Floral 1 and Spring Floral 2 cut files.

I decided to place them as three flower bouquets hanging down above my photo.
I cut them on white cardstock and backed them with the beautiful Echo Park Paper collection named “Salutation no.1”

I used a thick white cardstock as my base and played with watercolors to create a little green and blue mixed media background beneath were I planned to place my photos. I also added many tiny colored splatters that matched my color scheme.
I printed my photos in black and white. They are cute moments between Sabrina and our dog Fiona playing together during the pandemic lockdown. I added adhesive foam behind my photo and a strip of blue patterned paper to ground it.

I created a little floral cluster on the right lower side of the photos as a recall from the bouquets, and added a journaling card for my handwritten journaling.
I decorated the three bouquets with flowers and leaves die cuts from the same Echo Park collection and punched three bows out of patterned paper placed at the base of each bouquet.

Finally, I scattered many beautiful Pinkfresh Studio Crystal Mix as the final touch.

I looove this Spring feel so much !
I hope you felt inspired by this layout and those gorgeous cut files ! Check out the store for many more beautiful cut file ideas and inspiration !

BEST FURRIENDS LAYOUT | Sophie Delorme June 26, 2020 07:00
Hello crafty friends !
It's Sophie here today and I am sharing a cute layout highlighting the special bond between my little Sabrina and our dog, and I found the PERFECT JustNick Cut file for that !
I used the Cut file named "Paws to my Heart Background" that you can find in the store right here.
I've got so many photos of our dog... that as soon as I saw this in the shop, I new I had to use it !
So I started with a white cardstock background, adding just a few watercolor splatters on it in a rainbow order. I cut the cut file on white cardstock twice, to get a second layer of hearts. I backed the cut file with the beautiful paper no 06 from the Paige Evans Bloom Street collection. Then, I painted my second layer of hearts with watercolor to mimic the rainbow scheme of the patterned paper, and adhered it a little offset from the white hearts underneath. I love the result ! It's like having new embellishments, made out of the cut file..!
I added adhesive foam behind the cut file and sticked it down to my page.
I backed my photo with some tissue paper and a pink layer of another Bloom Street patterned paper and arranged it on the upper left side of the layout.
I embellished my page with other goodies from that same collection, and used a Flutter Phrase Thicker for my title.
Isn't this cut file adorable ?? I am very happy with the end result ! I hope you like it too ! Check out the JustNick store to see more amazing cut files. Trust me, you will get inspired on the spot !
Here are a ton of close-ups. Feel free to comment or ask any questions !
I wish you all a great crafty day !

Thankful for Mom | Morgan Langley May 6, 2018 07:00
Hey crafty friends! Today I am sharing a post for mom's week on the Just Nick blog using the "floral frames" cut file!
I love ALL the beautiful floral cut feels in the shop and all of them make great spring layouts! I started by cutting my frames and backing them with patterned papers from the "Turn the Page" collection. I love how much color this adds. I also watercolored my plain white background before adhering the frames with the packaging technique and some splatters! I tried to match the paint to colors in the collection!
14 Days of Giveaways - Day 13 | Morgan Langley December 13, 2017 07:00 2 Comments
Welcome to Day 13 of our 14 Days of Holidays cut file giveaways! Each weekday from December 1-14, 2017 we will be giving away a FREE cut file for that day only!
This cut file was SO fun to use! I cut the tags different sizes using a mix of kraft, white, and patterned card stock. Then I backed the cut outs with another scrap of paper and was ready to add some stitching accents!
On some of the tags I used a ruler to mark straight, different sized lines with a pencil and then stitched them, some I stitched around the image, others I stitched snowflakes, and a couple I did some french knot stitches!
I put thread or bakers twine through the hole of each tag and put adhesive so they would stay in position on my layout!
For my background I just sewed on some scraps of Christmas paper with my sewing machine using a mix of white and red threads. I added my photo and some wood snowflakes and Christmas trees and then the layout was complete!
Thank you for stopping by and make sure to get this file (HOLIDAY TAGS 2) today FREE with the code TAGFREE at checkout! Come back tomorrow for the 14th Day of giveaways!
