JustNick Cut File Store
Heart Ring | Monique Liedtke February 10, 2020 07:00
Hi everyone! It's Monique here on the blog today sharing a "hearts" layout. For two weeks we're sharing our hearts/love layouts on the blog and for my project I chose the brand new "Heart Ring" cut file.
This is the cut file I used (I'll add the link to the cut file in the store later):
I love using background cut files on my pages as they are so very versatile! This time I chose to cut the file from a sheet of patterned paper and also filled some of the open hearts with patterned paper.
I used Pebbles "Loves Me" collection, which I totally adore. Look at all those super cute animals!
Before I adhered the cut file I stamped a light chevron pattern on my white cardstock background paper using a stamp from Prima Marketing.
When my page was almost done I machine stitched both parts of the heart ring cut file as well as in some random places.
I couldn't resist adding a few bits and pieces from Doodlebug Design like the red matte sprinkles, the piece of "love" washi tape and the enamel rainbow. The word sticker at the bottom of the photo is from Crate Paper.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out all the inspiration on our blog. Don't forget to visit the JustNick store to see all the other awesome cut files!
Wishing you a wonderful week!
OUR STORY | Nathalie DeSousa October 4, 2019 07:00
Nathalie with you today with a new project that is all about my family. Once in a while I like to create covers for my albums, and the newest word cut files from JustNick studio were perfect to create a new cover.
I wanted to frame the cover page, so i used the Floral Corner cut file to create the floral frame for the page. I copy and rotated the file so that i had a piece on each corner and weld them all together.
I cut the frame out of smooth white cardstock and attached it to the background using a bit of foam adhesive so that it gives dimension to the page.
To create the title of the page i used the Story cut file to create the "Our Story" cut out from white cardstock. Each letter was then backed with papers from the new Pebbles' This is Family collection.
Once i set the title on the page, i added a picture of my family and added a few clusters of ephemera and stickers around the title and picture. To finish the page, i cut two of the smaller images from the Beautiful Butterflies cut file, glue them together and pop them at the bottom of the page.
I love how this project turned out, and it was so easy to put together using the beautiful Just Nick Studio cut files; so make sure to check them all out. Remember to contact me with any questions on how this came together.
YOLO | Monique Liedtke July 17, 2019 07:00
Hello JustNick fans, welcome to the blog! For today's blog post I've created a summer layout using the new "Sunshade Background" cut file and the "Smile" file. I love all the cut files in the JustNick store and always find it hard to choose which ones to use for my next project.
A couple of years ago (was it really already 5 years ago?!) the ice bucket challenge was all the rage and of course my kids had to join in. I didn't mind the wet clothes as I got some fun photos out of it! Here's the layout I created:
I've used the "Oh Summertime" collection from Pebbles which is just perfect for all summer photos and those sweet little boys die-cuts were just what I needed for my layout.
These are the cut files I used:
I started by cutting the Sunshade Background cut file from a sheet of yellow cardstock, measuring a little larger than 11"x 11". This yellow background sun I matted on the Pebbles "Oh Summertime" sheet (the sheet with the text). Behind this came first a sheet of white cardstock and then another sheet of patterned paper: the Pebbles Fresh Picked" sheet (red checkered). For some added texture I machine stitched all the sun rays.
I printed three small photos and adhered two in the bottom left corner and one in the top right corner. The rainbow colored landing strip from one of the sheets of patterned paper I used to fill in the sun rays.
The word "Love", which I cut from the "Smile" cut file, I sprayed with a "citron" color shine spray ink and adhered it partly over the bottom of the top photo:
I added a few die-cuts, stickers and enamel dots:
Last but not least I wrote the journaling in the sun beans and stamped the date and I was done!
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my project. Don't forget to visit the JustNick store. There are so many fun cut files you can use for your vacation photos!
Wishing you happy scrapping!
Happy Day | Rachel Lowe June 14, 2019 07:00 1 Comment
Hi all Rachel here! Today I have a summer layout for you using one of the new releases.
I have used the new collection by Pebbles Inc Oh SummerTime.
I cut the Sunshine background cut file in a yellow embossed paper, added foam tape to the three middle rays to create a 3d effect. I chose a great photo of my boys att the beach about to go for a surf.
I made my first embellishment cluster 'framing' my photo, as you can see I added another ball die cut and added with foam tape over the larger die cut one, with the flip flops I added and summer flower die cut with foam tape and also my title Happy Day.
I added a floral bunch to the top left of my photo and finished off adding a super cute parrot and heart on the opposite side.
I used the reef and crab die cuts to create another embellishment cluster at the bottom right of my page. To create the effect of a ocean I added sequins.
I love how this turned out, using the Sunshine Shade background and putting my photo over it really made my photo a focal point, it totally says summer! Thank you for stopping by today and I will see you later in the month with my last DT layout for Justnick Studio after a wonderful two years on the team.
You Make My Heart Happy | Rachel Lowe April 4, 2019 07:00
Hey justnick friends, Rachel here. Today I have a sweet layout of my puppy and yes indeed makes my heart happy!
I have used Pebbles Inc Love Me collection.
I have used this gorgeous Spring Floral Cluster. I cut it in white card and at approximately at 11 inches wide as I wanted it to be my feature.
So I could use different papers/patterns in my flowers, I used the release compound pathway and dragged out the petals and then cut. This is a simple technique that saves a lot of time and paper.
I ensure when I glued down my petals I did not glue the centre stems so I could bend them up to create a 3D effect. I then added smaller die cut flowers to the centres.
I then added some super cute diets from the collection adding them around my floral cluster, adding all with foam tape to continue with the 3D effect. How cute are these sloths!
I added my photo with foam tape as I chose not to mat it, I tucked a die cut heart and tiny flower under my photo. I added machine stitching to my heart and also my title, I love the texture and interest it adds.
To finish off my title I added die cuts under and slightly over it, to frame it and draw your eye to it.
And there you have it one super cute layout featuring this stunning spring floral cluster cut file!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and see you again soon.
