Hey hey everybody, it's Cathy!!! I'm back with another layout to help get your mojo going using Nicole's amazing cutfiles! So this time around I wanted to do something a little bit more subdued and soft, while still being masculine. I also wanted to cut my file using patterned paper since I've been doing a lot of cut files with white cardstock. I cut out the Scribble Circles background file on a sweet mint and white striped patterned paper. I then backed some of the circles with patterned paper and some I left open. I used some ephemera from Pretty Little Studio too, which matched perfectly with the colours I was working with! I love adding vintage touches to a more modern and minimal design. I really kept the patterns to a minimum and left lots of white space! Thank you so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!
Remember 2015 December 29, 2015 07:00
As I write my last post for JustNick it seems perfect to be sharing a layout about Remembering! As we enter into a new year in a few days - I wanted to document some special pictures of my kiddos. I also wanted to a post that highlighted some of my favorite things about JustNick's files - I loved working with her background files, I loved working with her word files, and I definitely loved her circles! This layout incorporates all three!
Just Nick has so many great background files and I always enjoyed trying to find a unique twist on them. One of my favorite layouts was one where I did string art - that was a massive undertaking. This time I decided to do string art again with the Scribble Circle Background but on a much smaller scale. Just a little in between the middle scribble circles.
I also really enjoyed working with all the word/text files that JustNick has to offer - so there was no better choice for my big bold title than the Remember word set!
Thanks for the wonderful ride here at JustNick! I know you are going to love the new team and enjoy their creations!

Hello JustNick friends! Marcia here today. I have a wedding layout to share with you. My daughter and her husband just celebrated their first anniversary and I was feeling guilty for not having finished scrapping all the pictures ... gasp!
I used a couple different cut files on this layout. Since It's a wedding photo, I wanted to incorporate some hearts. I found a great heart border in the Hearts cut file.
The hearts were used to separate two pieces of pattern paper.
Now, you will also notice the Scribble Circle. This is from the Scribble Circle Background cut file. I deleted all but one circle and after cutting it out, stitched around it. I love the texture that stitching adds.
I added another larger scribble circle under my photo and I stitched this one as well.
Don't be afraid to alter a cut file to suit your needs... Just imagine all the possibilities. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello friends! Happy Friday! It's Lee-Anne here and today I wanted to share a layout of my niece's horses using the Scribble Circles Background Cut File. I wanted to give my layout a rustic, country feel so I cut out the background with my Silhouette Cameo on some woodgrain patterned paper.
To give it more of a homemade feeling to the page, I added some stitching with my sewing machine.
You can find this cut file and many more in the Just Nick Digital Cut File Shop. Also, don't forget there is a free cut file to download that is available until October 31, 2015. Use the code CIRCLESFREE at checkout.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
