JustNick Cut File Store

My favorite person | Laureen Wagener February 23, 2017 07:00

Hi friends,

it's Laureen with you today and I am excited to share a new project with you!

Today I was able to use any design from the store - which tends to be a little overwhelming for me, since there are so many great ones!

I don't know about you, but I am LOVING all the new collections out there so I definetly wanted to use them for my project.

For my cut file I used the Stack Em Up Background and modified it a little, so it would only cut a portion on the top and bottom.

One of my favorite papers from the new Dear Lizzy collection is the one with the black and white florals. I fuzzy cut a bunch of them out and used Prima Marketing Water Soluble Oil Pastels to color them in and love how some of them look like they are stamps.

To make the florals and papers pop I used a black and white picture of my best friend and I and only added my title. The page was done in no time and I am absolutely loving it!

I hope I could inspire you today!

Have a great day,

Laureen

Let's Celebrate and XOXO Cards November 18, 2016 07:00

Hi everyone,

Michelle here with two cards to share with you for card week!  I must admit I have only just really started making cards and don't make too many of them.  I am trying to make time to make more as they are so handy to have.

My first card I created was a birthday card.  I combined two cut files - I created my own doily from the Doilies cut file set as I love using doilies on my cards and layouts.  This file is great as it gives you four different options to choose from which makes it great value for money.    I then cut out the 'celebrate' from the Birthday Sentiments cut file set and added this to my card as well.

For my second card I have created a more generic card for a non-specific occasion which is great to have on hand for when you need a card.  I used the Stack Em Up Background file first cut on white cardstock with some patterned paper layered underneath it.   I also cut out a Dahlia Flower and when I added it to my card and layered on some embellishments it started to look a bit dream catcher like so I added some feather embellishments dangling at the bottom. I added the XOXO sentiment which really makes it a versatile card for lots of different occasions from birthdays to general thank you cards.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today - I hope you have enjoyed seeing all our cards this week.
