It's that time of the month again - time for a new talented Guest Designer to join us on the blog!
Please help me welcome Amanda-Jayne Baldwin today!
My name is Amanda-jayne Baldwin, (aka AJ or @happy_arty_days) and I am super delighted to be a Guest Designer for Just Nick this month! I am a 38yold papercrafting and mixed media artist located in sunny Adelaide, South Australia. I am wife to the most patient man ever, mum to 2 beautiful children who are usually the subjects in my scrapbooking ventures, and a Visual Art Educator for Little Picassos. My style is fun, fresh, contemporary, with a love of colour, a feminine twist & usually features a little mixed media element too! I am lucky to have been on a number of amazing design teams over the last few years, and currently design for Cocoa Vanilla Studio, Pinkfresh Studio, & Paper Issues.
We asked Amanda to make a few projects using our cut files and check out what she sent us:

Hello JustNick friends!
Marcia here today to share my latest layout using some fabulous JustNick cut files. I was drawn to the Sunshine & Happiness cut file since my husband and I recently returned from a short weekend getaway to the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. We found a gorgeous beach on Madeline Island to spend the day. Here is how my layout turned out ...
The Twilight Zone Background was perfect to draw the eye to the focal point of my layout, a large photo that I centered in the middle.
I framed a couple of wallet photos using two of the Polaroid frames. I love how these turned out.
Here are the cut files that I used ...

I don't know about your summer, but mine was full of activities. The very last one was spent in Carlsbad, California, after my daughter's soccer tournament. We decided to take advantage of the end of the day to play in the sun and surf. Not only was it less crowded but it was also cooler AND we got to enjoy the sunset. With that in mind I made this layout using three different cuts from August's uploads:
the three cuts that I used Sunshine & Happiness:
here is a little closeup of the twilight zone & chain reaction:
As you can see from this closeup, I cut part of the Chain Reaction background to layer up underneath my picture. With the Twilight Zone background I cut it out of kraft cardstock and backed it with some pattern paper.
Lastly the title was cut with orange yardstick and then I misted it with some ColorShine to give it some shine like the sunset:
