JustNick Cut File Store

Go See Do | Rachel Lowe July 25, 2018 07:00

Hi Justnick friends Rachel here!

I have a fun travel layout for you today using this gorgeous cut file which I over sized!

I have scrapped the first page of an album I will be creating of our trip to Croatia, I wanted to create a bright and sunny layout so chose a bright yellow and white striped paper to cut my chosen cut file.

I sized my cut file taking into account the size of my two photos and that I cut the white card stock down to 11x11 inches to I could have a contrast paper (the boat paper fab for my them as a border).

As my cut file is my title and large adding more words or sentiments was going to make it too 'busy' so I have added text to my photos (I use Aviary App) instead.

I placed my photos in the 'spaces' to the left and right of my page, then it was fun time, adding all the gorgeous embellishments. I have used Paige Evans Pick-Me-Up collection. As always I have foam taped some elements so my layout has some height variation.

It is ok to cover some of the title, I just did it in a way that still makes it easy to read.

I have 'framed' my photos by adding embellishments to ensure the eye is drawn to the photos.

Thank you for stopping by today! This is a simple layout but has lots of impact due to the over sized cut file and lots of bright colours.

See you soon x

Circling the Globe | Tarrah McLean June 17, 2017 07:00

Hi Just Nick fans!

It's Tarrah McLean joining you and today I have a new layout to share with you! Recently my family and I went on an AMAZING holiday to the UK and Europe for 4 weeks! Hence I have loads of travel photos!

I decided to enlarge the globe included in the Around the World cut file set and cut it out from vellum, I then machine stitched it to the background paper, the collection I have used is the We R Memory Keepers collection called Jet Set. I really like how the vellum mutes the busy background paper a little bit.

I also cut the plane and the suitcase from this cut file set to use as embellishments that would tie in with my theme. I reduced the size of the plane a little bit and then cut it from orange cardstock and I cut the suitcase out of some green cardstock I had laying around.

A tag, a few stickers, a flair button and some wood veneer were all added to compliment the theme. I also added some white mist to brighten my layout up a little bit!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Just Nick blog today! Why not check out the Just Nick store for cut files that may suit your next project? There are loads in store to choose from!

Happy creating!

Tarrah x
