Hi Just Nick friends! It's Jaclyn here to share a page I made featuring one of the fun new designs for June, Starburst.
I could use stars on just about every page I make, but I especially love them when I'm designing pages for my boys. The starburst design was a nice compliment to this memory of a day spent at the local amusement park with my little guy.
As you'll note, a large portion of my page is filled with photos (five!), journaling and a thick and chunky title. All of those elements together create a lot of visual weight to the left side of my page. By filling the right side with the Starburst design, the page is nicely balanced.
I really like the mix of solid and open stars in this cut file. Having a mix of both styles adds a lot of movement to the design. Backing some of the open stars with a range of patterned papers and embellishments, creates even more interest and movement, working to tie the whole page together.
This cut file is so very versatile. I can see myself using it over and over again!
